A Eataly Bari, Vinibuoni d’Italia “incorona” i vini pugliesi

Even this year Italian Touring Club propose the guide Vinibuoni d’Italia.

Inspired by the Italian wine tradition, and aimed to value wines from native grapes and their territory, the guide Vinibuoni d’Italia Touring 2016, by Mario Busso and Luigi Cremona, dedicate its 13th editon Croatian Istria wines and there i salso a section dedicated to sparkling wines Classic Method, by Alessandro Scorsone, international renowned sommelier.

The wine selection took place in Buttrio (UD), where a regional commissions examined 25thousand wines from 7thousand wineries. 652 wines reached the final from each Italian region. 467 of these obtained the Corona (the highest award assigned to wine by the Touring Club) and 185 obtained the Golden Star (referred to the high quality in the category and the expression of the provenance land).

Tuscany gained the highest number of awards. Apulia obtained 19 Corona and 5 Golden Star, one Corona more and 3 Golden Star less than the last year. Two Apulian sparkling wines recived a Corona and a Golden Star.
